Each year the City Council must pass an annual appropriations ordinance before the start of each fiscal year (October 1 to September 30), setting the limits for expenditures in the different city funds.
The current fiscal year of 2023 began on October 1, 2022. Below is a link to the budget book created to improve transparency on city funds, revenues, and expenditures.
